Department of Economics
The department of Economics was established in the college in the year 1966 with a vision to provide the students of Shivamogga with the knowledge of Economics which shall help them come out of dearth of poverty and enter into the stream of knowledge to uplift the Indian economy, to rise itself to the level of high international economic order. Since its inception the department of economics has prepared the student to obtain various jobs in and outside Karnataka.
